Tuesday night will turn out clear and cool with a low of 57, but low 50s in nearby suburbs and 40s in the chilliest spots.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny and pleasant with a high of 73.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Clear with a low of 57.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny and comfortable with a high of 76. There's the slight chance of a brief shower as a front moves by.

FRIDAY: Cooler despite some sunshine with a high of 68. It'll also be a bit breezy for a while.

SATURDAY: Sunshine and some clouds with a high of 74, but a bit cooler if low clouds and spotty drizzle develop for a time.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny and warmer with a high of 79, but 80+ on some thermometers, mainly inland.

MONDAY: Variable cloudiness with a couple of showers and a high of 76. Most of the rain could occur in the afternoon and at night.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny with a high of 70.
