There could be a couple of showers on Halloween night ahead of a surge of colder air this weekend. Some of the season's first snowflakes could occur on Saturday night, mostly in the higher elevations located well north and west of the city.

FRIDAY: Cool with clouds and some sunshine. The high will be around 56. There may be a shower or two at night, but probably after trick-or-treat time.

SATURDAY: Blustery and colder with plenty of clouds and some showers, with perhaps even a period of steadier rain. Expect some wet snowflakes at night in parts of the area. The high will be around 48.

SUNDAY: Windy and quite chilly despite a return of some sunshine. The high will be around 47.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny with a high of 54.

TUESDAY: Times of clouds and sunshine with moderating temperatures and a high of 58.
