4 female suspects sought in string of Manhattan robberies

Police in Manhattan are searching for four women wanted in a string of robberies, and they're hoping surveillance images will lead to arrests.

The suspects struck at least four times in a one-hour span on May 26 in Washington Heights.

In each incident, authorities say one woman asked for directions before the other three surrounded the victim and removed his or her property.

The suspects stole money, credit cards, jewelry and cell phones.

All the incidents took place between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., and the victims ranged in age from 25 to 64.

There were no reported injuries in any of the incidents.

The suspects are two black females and two Hispanic females, all around 5-foot-5 and between the ages of 16 and 20.

Anyone with information in regards to any of these robberies is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
