Studio Production Head Electrician
WABC-TV, New York. Busy television studio seeks Studio Head Electrician. Position includes the oversight and ongoing maintenance of all production lighting and electrical elements pertaining to studio operations. Must be able to supervise and direct a stage crew in a fast paced environment, during live broadcasts and have the ability to multi-task on the fly. Must also be willing to work long hours when projects dictate.

Working knowledge of computerized moving lights and ETC Sensor Rack dimmer systems is required. Programming experience with the ETC Gio lighting boards or equivalent is preferred. Position requires the close collaboration with Producers and Lighting Designers.

This is an IATSE Local 1 represented position. Experience in live TV studio operations preferred. Theatrical experience helpful.

News Writer/Producer
WABC-TV is looking for a highly motivated writer/producer with a varied skill set for a highly competitive, high pressure environment. You must have outstanding news judgment, be able to pitch great story ideas and have a great production sense. Candidate should be active on social media and understand how to leverage those platforms for stories. You should also be able and willing to shoot and edit some of your own video. Freelance Graphic Designer / Artist

Freelance Digital Assistant
WABC-TV is looking for a Digital Producer. Candidate is a self-motivated, team player, who is able to generate ideas and exercise good judgment. He or she would be flexible, resourceful, and have strong organizational/time management skills with a strong desire to grow technically.

Responsibilities - Knowledge of web content management systems, and Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms. Help in creating campaigns with social networks, help verbalize status updates for local stations and provide pictures to help promote the show on other channels. Aid in creating contests, generate ideas and web designs for web contests for the show.

Basic Qualifications: At least 1 year of website/social media experience. Television production experience is helpful.
Technical Skills:
