Queens mom who fired at son's killer won't be charged

A mother who tried to shoot her son's alleged killer will not be charged in a parking lot shootout in Queens.

Darrell Lynch, 24, and another man got into an argument over a parking spot in Jamaica Monday night.

Police say the man pulled out a gun and shot Lynch in the leg.

Lynch pulled out his own gun, but dropped it. That's when his mom picked up the pistol and opened fire, but missed the other gunman.

When they tried to chase the shooter in their SUV, Lynch passed out from blood loss and crashed the vehicle into two parked cars.

He was rushed to the hospital with a severed artery, and doctors were unable to save him.

The shooter is still at large.
