Police investigating East Harlem hit and run

A man in his twenties was struck by a car Thursday at Lexington Avenue and East 104th Street in East Harlem.

The accident happened just before 5 p.m.

EMS transported the victim to New York Presbyterian Cornell Hospital in very critical condition.

Police say the victim was a deliveryman for a Chinese restaurant on 3rd Avenue.

He was on a bicycle heading south on Lexington Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle traveling in the same direction.

The vehicle fled the scene.
