Christie's political storm, and another winter storm

Bill Ritter's daily take on the news.

Hey, just what we wanted! More bad weather. In a winter that has already seen its share of mess, Meteorologist Lee Goldberg says we're in for another drenching. He's tracking the latest storm, tonight at 11.

We're also tracking the latest political storm involving New Jersey Governor Christie. More than 900 pages of additional documents released this afternoon, some of them heavily redacted. No smoking guns involving Mr. Christie, other than the (what's the word for it? "sick?") emails sent by the governor's now-fired top aide. The bigger question is whether New Jersey's chief executive can govern effectively, with a legislature now digging into his every decision.

The bridge-gate scandal involves Mr. Christie's people reportedly ordering lanes of the George Washington Bridge to be closed in Ft. Lee because the mayor of that city didn't endorse Christie's re-election bid. We'll have the latest, at 11.

And we're following the horrific developments in the death of a 4-year-old boy in New York, after his father was busted and turned over care of Myls Dobson to his transgender girlfriend. She's now accused of brutalizing him, beating him, starving him, and putting him outside in underwear during last week's frigid weather. It is beyond terrible. Who would do this?

We'll also have any breaking news of the night, plus Rob Powers with the night's sports. I hope you can join Liz Cho (in for Sade Baderinwa) and me, tonight at 11, after 20/20.
