A woman was caught on camera stealing toys from a donation bin in a Bucks County restaurant, and the crime has left the owners stunned.

The owners and managers of Wings-to-Go in Fairless Hills, Pa. say they have never seen anything like it.

"We've been doing Toys for Tots for at least 10 years now. We've never had anything happen like this," said general manager Nicole Dean.

Surveillance video shows a woman walking up to the Toys for Tots bin inside the shop. She looks around, reaches inside the box, pulls out at least two toys, and casually walks out.

It all happens right in front of a customer who was on his smart phone and doesn't realize what was going on.

Dean says the woman did not have to steal the donations. If she was in a financial bind, they would have helped her out.

"We try to help everybody," said Dean. "If she needed help, we would have gave her a meal. We would have helped her, I just don't understand."

Action News spoke with Wings-to-Go customers who say the only thing worse than stealing is stealing from a children's charity.

"I hope whoever it was has a really bad Christmas, seriously," said Rita Abington.

"It's just disgusting. That's stealing from a child who will not have something underneath the tree now," said Lisa Riggleman.

The managers from Wings-to-Go did not file a police report, and they want the woman to keep the toys.

They are hoping that people will simply continue to donate to Toys for Tots either at their store or somewhere else to make something good out of something bad.
