Police searching for a man caught on camera robbing a Bronx gas station are hoping a new sketch will help lead to an arrest.

The armed robber fired a shot through a glass door at the gas station on Webster Avenue in University Heights around 2 a.m. last Thursday.

The suspect then burst in through the door, grabbed some cash from the clerk's drawer and took off.

The incident began when the suspect displayed his weapon through the window, but the clerk refused to open the door.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, last seen wearing a green hat and dark-colored hoodie.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
