A construction worker was trapped for two hours in a muddy trench in Kew Gardens, Queens.

Construction worker Marco Castellon fell 15 feet into a trench that partially collapsed around him.

His brother Miguel was working with him and called 911.

It happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday on 83rd Avenue.

The Fire Department responded and worked for over two hours to free Castellon.

Miguel Castellon says he was afraid it was going to rain and trap them both.

He explained to Eyewitness News in Spanish that after his brother cried out saying "I don't want to die in this trench" and Miguel looked him in the eyes and said, "You're my brother, I won't leave you."

Marco Castellon was brought out alive, placed on a stretcher and rushed to the hospital. He's listed in stable condition.
