Five teens ended up the hospital, some with high levels of alcohol in their system.
According to town officials, five students between the ages of 14 and 18 were taken to the emergency room, at least two were "deeply intoxicated" and kept overnight for observation.
The party took place at the Arch Street Teen Center where police have investigated a number of incidents involving underage drinking.
The center is alcohol free and has been open since 1991. It's privately operated by a non-profit group.
The executive director says the main problem is some teens getting drunk before trying to enter the premises. If a parent can't be reached, the town's emergency medical service then decides whether to take the student to the hospital.
The center's director and town officials says parent bear much of the responsibility.
Some parents agree there is a need for greater supervision.
