Suspect sought in string of bodega robberies

Police are searching for a suspect who has struck more than a dozen times at bodegas, delis and grocery stores from Chelsea to Brooklyn.

The NYPD says he has carried out this string of crimes since February 16, with the most recent happening in Chelsea on June 24.

In all the incidents the suspect, armed with a gun, walks into the location with a bandana around his face and demands money and cigarettes. There were no injuries reported in any of the incidents.

NYPD released a photo of the suspect from a robbery at the Alaska Food Market on 9th Avenue in Chelsea on May 1.

Investigators also released raw video of the suspect outside a deli on 8th Avenue in Chelsea robbed on Sunday, June 24. (Watch second video above)

The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic man, 20-30 years old, 5'6"-5'8" tall, wearing a red hat, blue jeans, red sweatshirt and white bandana.
