Connecticut students develop anti-bullying app

June 21, 2012 5:18:01 AM PDT
A group of Connecticut teens has developed an app to help kids protect their peers from bullies.

It's called Back Off Bully, and it is the brain child of 14 high school students at the Metropolitan Academy in New Haven.

The app allows kids who witness bullying or are victims of bullying to report it anonymously through their smart phone, computer or tablet.

The information goes into a database that helps administrators find and stop bullies in their tracks.
