Police are looking for three men who carried out a home invasion and robbery in Greenwich Village Saturday.

The men went to the door of a first floor apartment at 171 Thompson Street at about 2 p.m.

Police say at least one of the men was impersonating a FedEx deliveryman, and said he had a package.

When the resident opened the door, the men pushed their way in.

One of them yelled, "Where's the money and jewelry?"

They took about $2,000 and an I-phone from the apartment.

Police say the victim was pistol whipped.

He was treated at the scene for abrasions and bumps to the head.

It is unclear whether he was targeted, or whether it was a random robbery.
