The officers have accepted a voluntary incentive to retire that will save the county more than $23 million in annual labor costs.
Among them were two commanders charged last month with conspiring to drop a 2009 burglary investigation against the son of a wealthy police benefactor.
Another 51 civilians also took incentives, saving the county an additional $4 million.
Nassau County's workforce has dropped by 19 percent since 2009.
