March 30, 2012 8:17:39 AM PDT
A man arrested for jumping the turnstile at a PATH train station in Greenwich Village Friday morning was in possession of a gun loaded with hollow-point bullets, according to police.

Authorities say 36-year-old Rubin Sanabria was arrested on charges including resisting arrest, weapon possession and theft of service.

Sanabria was caught in possession of a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun loaded with hollow-point bullets.

Port Authority officers Matt Vogelman and Pat Carroll were on duty at the 14th Street PATH station around 4:30 a.m. when they saw Sanabria jumping the turnstile.

The officers noticed a bulge in Sanabria's waistband. He tried to flee, but the officers grabbed him.
