There's an alert for women about the health dangers of too much stress.

A new study finds high stress levels in women can lead to a rise in a hormone called cortisol.

It can raise the risk of heart disease and diabetes.

Doctors recommend a routine test that will tell if your cortisone levels are too high.

Among the warning signs, weight gain in the abdomen and fatigue.
