National Night Out in New York City

Tuesday night, residents throughout Brooklyn and other boroughs are joining forces with police to make their streets safer.

Mayor Bloomberg stopped by the 88th police precinct in Fort Greene, one of many sites holding events to mark the National Night Out Against Crime.

The annual event is dedicated to taking back the streets from criminals and improving relationship between the police and the public.
