The wicked weather caused problems in New Jersey Friday night, where one town's mayor says a tornado may have touched down.

Severe storms tore through the Town of Vernon in Sussex County.

Roofs blew off homes, trees were uprooted, and power was knocked out.

The mayor says the power company, firefighters, and police are all out working overnight to make sure the town is safe.
