Search for attempted teen rape suspect

The New York City Police Department is searching for a man who attempted to rape a Brooklyn teen.

Police released a sketch of the suspect who they say pulled up to the victim and asked her if she needed a ride on Sunday, March 13 at approximately 10:30 p.m. in East New York.

The girl got into the suspect's blue SUV and he drove to a nearby parking garage where he attempted to rape her.

The girl was able to fight the man off and ran away.

The suspect is described a black man (medium to light complexion), 20-25 years of age, 5'7"-5'9" tall, 160-170 lbs., slim build.
