Police in New Jersey have made an arrest in a double murder in Teaneck earlier this week. Nicholas D. Kiriakakis, 25, of Richmond Hills, New York is charged with the murders of Jonathan Beneduce and Michael Mirasola on February 17.

The two were found shot to death in their vehicle parked on Oakdene Avenue.

Investigators said Kiriakakis met with the victims in Queens and the three drove from there to Teaneck, New Jersey in separate vehicles.

It's believed the three traveled there for drug deal.

Investigators found evidence, including two simulated handguns, a stun gun, and illegally obtained prescription drugs, in Kiriakakis' vehicle, home and a restaurant/bar in Bayside called Pearl Nightlife that Kiriakakis part owns and manages.

After being interviewed by Bergen County detectives, Kiriakakis was charged with the murders.

The two victims were close friends and both were acquaintances of Kiriakakis, authorities said.

He was ordered held on three million dollars bail with no ten percent.

Kiriakakis was also charged by New York City Police with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Prescription Ledger Drugs without a Prescription, and with being a Fugitive from Justice for the Bergen County charges.

He is currently being held in the Queens Detention Center awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
