'Junior Gotti' jury resumes deliberations

Jurors at the racketeering trial of John "Junior" Gotti have resumed deliberations in federal court in Manhattan but it is unclear for how long they'll be talking. U.S. District Judge Kevin Castel said he may postpone deliberations for a week or go with only 11 jurors because a juror says she's leaving for vacation after Monday.

Last Thursday, jurors raised the specter of a fourth mistrial when they wrote the judge they were deadlocked on charges including murder. Three other juries deadlocked.

Prosecutors say Gotti, the son of the late infamous mob boss, participated in several murder plots in the 1980s as part of a life of crime.

Attorneys for Gotti say he quit the Mafia in 1999 and he never participated in murders.
